Ways to Donate
Because CHS is a 501c-3, we can write a tax receipt for donations:
PayPal – Donate directly to our PayPal account. As a recognized 501c-3 by PayPal, it means that PayPal takes a smaller percentage of your donation.
You can securely make a One-Time, Monthly, or Annual Donation by clicking the PayPal logo below.
Check with your HR Department – Many companies offer Employees Matching Donation Programs. They are designed to encourage charitable contributions by matching funds to eligible nonprofits. This effectively doubles or triples your donation.
Kroger points – “Saving the Unwanted” is as easy as shopping at Kroger. Here’s how.
Shop the Thrift Store – Every day our inventory at CHS Thrift Store changes. Check our Facebook page.
Donate items to the CHS Thrift Store – We pick up the big stuff!
Required Minimum Distribution – If you are 73 years of age, check with your advisor about how a charitable donation can be used to lower your RMD.
Donate Animal Care Supplies
Towels, sheets and blankets – CHS can always use these goods for foster homes, and any overflow is taken to Shelters and Vet Practices
Cat/kitten food and litter (dry or canned) – Last year we saved over 950 cats/kittens. This takes lots of food.
Kitty litter – You cannot imagine how much kitty litter is required by CHS rescue.
Dog/puppy food (dry or canned) – Last year we saved over 350 puppies/dogs. We share donations with our foster homes to help defray the cost of keeping up with the canines. They can eat a great deal of food.
As a 501(c)3 rescue that does not receive any funding through local, state, or federal agencies, most of our supplies come from generous folks like you. Your donations provide a consistent, reliable income stream, which allows us to focus more resources on our lifesaving programs.
